Beam Team is a 1-vs.-3 minigame from Mario Party 5. The setting of the minigame is based on real-life Stonehenge.
Introduction[edit]
The solo player is first seen. The other three players in UFOs appear and try to capture the solo player, while the solo player escapes.
Gameplay[edit]
The three players in UFOs must move around and capture the solo player with their tractor beams, while the solo player has to avoid them. The players controlling the UFOs have to avoid knocking into each other, or they stop moving for a moment. The team players win if they capture the solo player. The solo player wins if they survive until 30 seconds are up.
Ending[edit]
If the team wins, the UFO that caught the solo player goes to the center and in front of the trio. The team players then do their secondary winning animations, while the solo player is dragged by one of the team players' UFO. If the solo player wins, the team players' UFOs collapse, their capsule opens, and the team players get shot out of their UFOs. The solo player then does their primary winning animation, while the team players are dazed.
